Exhausts

Q. Are the exhausts made entirely from Stainless Steel?
A. Yes, we also use Aluminium for the end caps.

Q. Are the exhausts road legal?
A. Technically no. Depending on the design some may meet MOT testing standards.

Q. Will the pipes discolour when they get hot?
A. Yes they will go a straw colour mainly close to the heads.

Q. Are they easy to clean?
A. Yes, although they discolour, they are easy to clean and unlike chrome you cannot wear off the shine. They can be polished over and over again.

Q. Are they very loud?
A. Open pipes are obviously very loud but we can build great looking pipes with silencers and baffles to make the sound more acceptable to the sensitive ear!

Q. Can you make any design for any bike?
A. Oh yes, we are a custom bike builder.

Q. Do you need the bike to make the pipes?
A. Yes, all our systems are hand built to suit only your bike.

Q. How do I get my bike to you?
A. If you ride down, we will organise transport to the nearest train station. Alternatively, we will gladly collect your bike but there is a costs attributed to this service.

Wheels

Q. Are the wheels cast or forged?
A. All our wheels are forged billet Aluminium.

Q. Are they chrome plated?
A. No, they are highly polished Aluminium.

Q. Do they come with hubs?
A. No, these are sold separately.

Q. Can we supply a wheel complete with hubs and tyres.
A. Yes we can also supply custom pulley's and discs.

Q. Can I have any design cut in the wheel?
A. If it can be machined yes. This will however incur and extra cost due to design and programming.

Q. Do you have wheels in various sizes?
A. Yes we stock many sizes, see the chart in the "wheels" section of this website.

Terms & Conditions

Installation: Twisted Steel custom works, further referred to here as TSCW, will not assume nor accept any responsibility for incidental damages or labor charges due to the use and / or misuse of our products. Improper installation, negligence, alteration or misuse, relieves TSCW from any warranty claims furthermore the user and / or installer shall assume all legal, personal injury risk, liability and all other obligations and risk associated therewith.

Pricing: All prices, terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Prices quoted are in GBP Sterling and include VAT at 17.5%. TSCW accepts visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo, Visa Electron, and Maestro card payments as well as a personal or company cheque. Cheque's can only be sent by mail. There will be a charge of Ł20.00 for all returned cheques. Collection agency fees, interest and service charges will be added to all unpaid invoices if litigation is necessary for collection.

Shipping: All orders will only be shipped / dispatched after full payment is received. Payment includes VAT and delivery charge. Minimum Ł20.00 shipping and handling fee on all products.
Overseas shipping cost on application, items will be sent via UPS or similar vendor.

Freight claims: Our products are carefully inspected before dispatch. TSCW accepts no responsibility for damages incurred during shipping / delivery. Damage occurring in transit must be reported to the carrier on receipt.

Returns: All claims must be made within 3 days of goods being received. Returns must have a returns authorization number from TSCW. No returns will be accepted without authorization and the original invoice. All returned products must be prepaid, insured and packaged correctly. The customer is responsible for products damaged during shipping / delivery due to improper packaging.

Refused Orders: Freight charges incurred by a delivery being refused, or by customer not present, or returned to TSCW will be the responsibility of the customer.

Limited Warranty: TSCW has a 1-year warranty on all parts. Our guarantee is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. The course of action will be determined solely by TSCW. These products are not DOT approved. Our products are intended for custom applications and dressing material, exclusively for display and show rooms. It is the responsibility of the user to determine the suitability of our products for his or her use. The user shall assume all legal, personal injury risk and liability and all other obligations and risk associated therewith. Installation of our product may void your factory warranty. We recommend having a legitimate motorcycle business install our products. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, negligence, alteration or misuse. We will not accept any returns that have been damaged or modified for improper installation. Twisted steel custom works will not assume any responsibility for incidental damages due to the use of our product.
